The school library is an extension of your classroom. The library offers an information-rich environment that encourages students to explore their interests and expand their horizons.

The school library program supports your classroom program, but also provides opportunities to enrich and enhance it.

Waterloo Region District School Board library staff have collaborated to build this website to support teachers and students as they explore their reading interests, learn how to be thorough and discerning researchers, and develop the information ethics so critical to developing as responsible digital citizens.

The Planning Inquiry & Research section of this website helps you with ideas for using the library in your instructional program. It suggests ideas for using the wide range of resources on this website with your students.
